Iskaroth started in 1994 a solo project under the name �Winterlord� , and recorded a demo which was called �Black Blood�. Soon he found some people who shared the same interests and they decided in 1995 to change the name in �Diabolique�. From raw black metal with an atmospheric touch they changed to fast and mid-tempo atmospheric black metal. When they got good reactions from a lot of people and lots of request for a demo they decided to record a CD , but just before the recordings the drummer had to go in prison for 8 months . But he came home one weekend in a month so we could record the drum parts. A small label �Darkfields Records� released the CD in the end of 98. The title of the CD is �Nocturnal Breeze� and counts 12 songs with a playing time of 45 minutes. On this moment the band is busy to write new material for their 2nd CD which will come out in the end of this year.
Now in the year 1999 , Dormir is released from Prison and also the line-up has changed. Astoriah and Ravenna left the band because some internal band problems.
Kjellt Draco is still possessed by a spirit , so this is also a reason why it's hard to find replacement in our band. Also Iskaroth decided to stop with singing and playing bassguitar because he wants to concentrate on 1 thing only , because he writes 50% of the songs he switched to guitar. Replacement has been found in Winterdemon who did vocals in a local band , when we offered him to do vocals in Diabolique he left the band immediatly. The band is also busy now with a guy on synths , nothing for sure yet!!! On this moment Diabolique needs only a bassplayer , but this will not stop us to do live gigs or recordings. The bass parts always played by Iskaroth on their recordings. New recordings will be done within 2 months.

LIVE GIGS
Our live act is always again a surprise , even for us. In the past live shows we have used : Fire Spitters , Lots of Blood , Human Scarving , Rituals and lots of fire. I hope we will be able in the future to burn down the stage when we're playing but none of the clubs where we have played allowed us to do it yet.
